I’ve tried a lot of products…like A LOT and here’s my hands down before bed skincare routine that I’m not ready to give up on. here’s my fav items and some that I do one-twice a week to keep up with texture, hydration & glow.
STEP 1 (EVERY NIGHT-DAY)
Elemis collagen balm- spread on your face and with a hot cloth, remove the balm. it cleanses your whole face, smells so botanical and makes your skin feel amazing.
STEP 2 (ONCE OR TWICE A WEEK)
Enzyme peel- I tend to breakout with tiny little pimples in the middle of my forehead. I’m not too big on exfoliating because my skin is SO sensitive. This works so well for me because it opens my pore and does a great work at gently cleaning my pores and clearing up these pimples. this one is a must! I use a little sponge to add a gentle exfoliation as well.
STEP 3 (AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK)
Eye masks! there are so many out there! this week I tried the sephora ones and really liked them!
STEP 4 (ONCE OR TWICE A WEEK)
Clay mask or sheet mask
STEP 5 (EVERY NIGHT)
Elemis superfood night cream- it’s delicious. feeds your skin of every superfood it needs. I can’t even say how much this cream has changed my skin.
STEP 6 (IF I DON’T DO A MASK)
If I don’t do a mask and it’s my regular nighttime routine, I add my Kiehl’s night face oil. I love it. You can either put it before or after your night cream, it’s up to you. I’ve dragged that thing for a long time and love it.
STEP 7 (EVERY NIGHT)
Eye cream. a must. don’t skip it. and this winner winner is Korres. literally obsessively obsessed with that brand. their products are phenomenal.
STEP 8 (MORE THAN THREE TIMES A WEEK)
If you have redness- THESE! and that whole brand!!!! my mom was a redhead and I got her skin <3 which means I have a lot of redness and always have. It’s so hard to find products for that and I finally found a natural line that helps a lot from cicapair
If I had to pick two of my fav skincare companies right now would be Korres and Elemis. they’re exactly what we needed. Natural and effective.
